Adding a Multiple Choice Question
There are two types of multiple choice questions you can add; a Radio Button, for a single response questions, or a Checkbox, for multiple response questions.
RADIO BUTTON MULTIPLE CHOICE (ONE ANSWER)
Use this question type if you would like respondents to select a single answer from a list of predetermined responses.
To Create this Question
- Enter the question in the ‘Question Text’ box. To go to the next line, press shift+enter.
- In the box labeled ‘Answer Choices,’ type or paste the responses (one response per line)
- Choose your optional settings from the right hand side of the question editor
- To add the question to your survey, click Save
- The multiple choice answers can be displayed as vertical radio buttons with 1, 2, 3 or 4 columns, horizontal radio buttons, or as a drop down menu.
- Change the Sort Type
- Add Comment Field
- Require Answer to Question
- Add a Sub-Form
- Change Question Size & Placement
CHECKBOX MULTIPLE CHOICE (MULTIPLE ANSWERS)
Use this question type if you would like respondents to select one or more answers from a list of predetermined responses

- In the box labeled ‘Answer Choices,’ type or paste the responses (one response per line)
- Choose your optional settings from the right hand side of the question editor
- To add the question to your survey, click Save
- The multiple choice answers can be displayed as vertical radio buttons with 1, 2, 3 or 4 columns, horizontal radio buttons, or a select box (CTRL+click to choose more than 1 answer).
- Change the Sort Type
- Add Comment Field
- Require Answer to Question
- Add a Sub-Form
- Change Question Size & Placement
To change the formatting of any question, use the Rich Text Editor.
