How can I redirect respondents to a promotional URL?

A: There are two different ways to redirect your respondents to a promotional URL.

Option 1: To redirect ALL respondents who complete the survey to a promotional URL, you must first create a new Distribution Method. When you create your distribution, one of the optional settings is 'Redirect at Survey Completion': By default, once respondents complete your survey they will be redirected to the SurveyAct home page. To redirect respondents to your own page, simply enter the full URL (beginning with http://) into the box.

If you create multiple distribution methods, you must make sure to change the settings for each one. If your individual distribution methods are targeting different groups, you can also enter different URL’s for each group.

If you already created your distribution methods and want to add a URL, you can access the settings on the Saved Distribution Methods page by clicking on the Actions drop down menu and then clicking on Settings.

Option 2: To redirect different respondents to different URL’s based on their responses, OR to redirect respondents who will not be completing the survey (ie, who are disqualified in the first question), use Page Jumping. When you create your IF/THEN rules statement, one of your ‘THEN’ options is End Survey & Go To URL. This will redirect any respondent who meets your conditions to the URL you specify. You can add as many conditions as you like using Advanced Page Jumping, or put the rules at any point in your survey.
