Can I add an introduction to my survey?

A: Yes! To add an introduction to your survey, or to any page in your survey, simply type your text into the page description box.

  1. Next to the page that you want to add the introduction to, click Edit Page.
  2. From the drop down menu, choose Edit Name/Description.
  3. Type your text in the 'page description' box and choose Save & Return to Survey.

If you want to add introductory text that is not at the beginning of a page, you can use the ‘Section Header’ question type to enter your introduction and insert it at any point in your your survey. 

1. Enter the text heading in the ‘Description’ box. To go to the next line, press shift+enter. To change the formatting of your question, see Rich Text Editor.
2. Choose your optional settings from the right hand side of the question editor
3. To add the question to your survey, click Save & Create New or Save & Return to Survey.
